Gavin provides tax consulting and compliance services to a sophisticated clientele. He is experienced in serving a wide range of clients, including:

-Privately-held businesses and their owners. His business clients include law firms, insurance agencies, construction firms, and real estate brokerages, to name a few.

-Executives in corporate, non-profit, and academic organizations.

-Traders.

-Venture capital and private equity investors.

-Real estate investors and managers.

Prior to founding GP Associates, Gavin was a Tax Manager at DRW, a proprietary trading firm in Chicago. Previously, he was a CPA at KPMG.

Gavin has a BS in Accounting from Florida Gulf Coast University. He is a licensed CPA in Illinois and in Florida.

Kathy is experienced in providing tax consulting and compliance services to clients in a variety of industries and all walks of life. She is accessible and communicative, and puts in the time to help her clients understand their tax situations. Kathy’s clients include:

-Executives in various corporate settings and functions.

-Finance professionals including bankers, wealth managers, traders, and other accountants.

-Retired individuals and their families.

-Privately owned businesses.

-Real estate investors, brokers, and managers.

Kathy began her career at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell, the predecessor firm to KPMG. She has been in private tax practice since 1986.

Kathy earned her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and her Bachelors of Accounting degree from Boston College. She is a licensed CPA in Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
